We had a absolutely fantastic week skiing in Mayrhofen. The expanse of slopes is incredible. They have these trackers on your lift passes so you can go on line and view your days skiing.
On one day when we went with a guide, we skied a total of 126 kms of which 68kms was actually skiing on pistes. Needless to say max couldn’t ski for the next 2 days because his hips were so sore.
Night life—well Mayrhofen seems like the apres-ski capital of the world. Night life is madness, and you even buy your shots by the yard in these special wooden trays.
Also why buy a small beer when you can buy a litre at a time.

We booked a group chalet and HB so we would meet people in the evening. Well we had a group of 16 guys from Birmingham , a mixture of firemen, a punk band manager, engineers and just good blokes, and the other 7 were from Newcastle, (the girls old friends, all initally paramedic) . At least they had 5 women in the group or Lucy would have felt a bit left out. And boy, could they all party as well. Made us look slow.!!.
